As owners of this beautiful horse facility Cedarwood Farm in Ipswich Massachusetts we wish to share it with others.

Our journey started with Corine’s passion for horses and all animals for that matter. As a practicing pediatric dentist she had always pictured a petting zoo with her office. That is how Doc her Miniature horse came into my life! Doc accompanied Corine on many Christmas Parades, School Outings, and Children’s Presentations.

Like all horse crazy girls, her love for horses started at very young age. Corine’s father was quite the animal lover and they had just about every species one could have on rural Long Island, New York. Her very first horse was bought at a county fair for $75.00—and that was horse and saddle! He had the loneliest look and she thought they should take him home and make him happy!

Fast forward to 2015 when we had the opportunity, thanks to the Raymond family, to become the new caretakers of Cedarwood Farm. Slowly we have been working on restoring the barn and property.

Cedarwood Farm is a boarding facility, where all the horses are cared for and handled by staff who use natural principles based on horse psychology. We have a big beautiful indoor as well as outdoor arena, and access to miles and miles of trails.

And then in 2020 HGTV was developing a new show, Farmhouse Fixer, and our main House was selected. After the incredible restoration, we realized we just had to make it and the farm available to you for those very special occasions.
